My favourite thing about being part of the student council is that everyone in the council treated you as if it were your family and the shopping trips

My favorite park of student council was organizing school wide events which were every week like jersey day or heritage day the thing Î was most proud of was working hard in trying to organize things like twin day or sports day leaders.Which really taught me to talk to little kids and try to control them.

This year I am most proud of my pod for growing as a team, and developing skills that helped them succeed as an individual. One of my favourite things that we did was running the kahoot games.

There has been a lot of amazing events the Student Council has planned this year, and I'm so grateful to be apart of it. But, if I had to chose one of my favourite days, it would have to be Celebrating Canada's 150 birthday!

Some of my favourite things about student council were going to the mall with my friends if we needed to buy something. I also enjoyed helping other people, taking leadership, working as a team and meeting new people within my school. Student council is super fun!

My favorite thing that we did as a council was organizing "Celebrating My Heritage Day". This was the moment where the student council of 2017 really made their mark on the school. The council worked extra hard to organize this event, and I am really proud of what we accomplished that day! Another event that made me really proud, was when the student council put together "We Care About Our World Day". It felt amazing when I found out how much money our school raised for eight third-world countries. The council has worked so hard this year, and I am so proud of all that we have done!

My favorite thing we did as a council was Heritage Day. An event involving heritage was something that has never been done before at our school. The council this year has brought ideas that were inclusive to all four pillars of the student council, including Heritage Day which fits into supporting learning, promoting health and virtues and building school spirit. Heritage Day was a way for students to learn more about the diversity of fellow dragons and the many countries we all come from. There were so many components to the dress up day, including a reader's theater and DPA led by pod one, a kahoot contest led by pod three and drawing and coloring contests led by pod two. All of this was organized and carried out by the team of executive members and the class reps. I was very happy to be able to share my own heritage with primary students and perform a readers theater with the rest of my pod. I was also very happy with the outcome of the eventful day. It was something our group had planned ourselves and the school loved.
