I would tell the grade sixes to try your hardest on everything in the student council. Also try to get involved in as many ways as you can.

I would tell the grade 6's to try and be part of the student council and even if you don't be part of student council try to help teachers during recess, lunch and after school.

I would recommend that you join student council because you get to make decisions for your school and that is fun.

Student council is indeed a fun thing to be a part of in our school. We get to plan special events and other fun things. Though, being a part of student council means that you must be focused, committed, a good leader and you must be able to work with others.

My one and only piece of advice is to only join if you are dedicated to working hard and giving up your own time to help the school. Don't join if you think student council is a joke, and you should just kill time in it.

I would tell the grade sixes to defiantly try to be a part of the student council. It may seem scary at first to put yourself out there, but it is completely worth it in the end. Being in the student council is such an amazing and memorable experience. You learn so much, and get the opportunity have a say in what goes on in the school. You are given a voice, and have the freedom to share your thoughts. The student council is such a wonderful thing, and the knowledge that you gain during it, will be carried with you throughout high school. You are surrounded by people who share the same interests as you, and are able to become a stronger person from your experiences. The student council is a great thing to be a part of, and I suggest to the future grade sevens, to take a leap of faith, and be a part of this wonderful group!

They should definitely try joining student council, but not to pass time, but to dedicate time and effort towards the school.

I would encourage all grade sixes that are willing to to join the student council next year. Joining the student council is a great chance to develop leadership skills that will help you throughout high school and beyond. You can also share ideas and work with people who are as committed as you are to help those in need, support learning, build school spirit and promote health and virtues. One piece of advice I can give to grade sixes wanting to join the team is to be happy with your position even if it wasn't the one you campaigned for how or how small it may seem to you. It's not necessarily a bad thing to end up in a spot you hadn't wished for; your teacher may have put you in that position because they know you'd be more successful - for example - as a photographer than a secretary. And remember, being the class rep alternate is just as important as being the class rep for your division. It is also very important you can catch up on any work you miss while at meetings if you are on the executive. You should always stay organized and prepare to be given some amounts of work to catch up on, although that amount may depend on what class you're in... Also, make sure to get involved and don't fuss about how small your job may be. Every part is needed for the student council to work smoothly as a team.
